2025 AIF x VALIANT STOCK PITCH COMPETITION

AIF is excited to partner with Valiant Capital management to host the 2025 aif x Valiant undergraduate stock pitch competition.
Founded in 2008 by Chris Hansen, Valiant is a $2.5B crossover fund with Tiger Cub heritage. The public equities portfolio employs a global, generalist long/short investment strategy. To learn more about Valiant, please visit https://www.valiantcapital.com/.
Pitch Competition Rules:
Pitch an equity, long or short; no pair trades
Stocks must be minimum $800mm in market capitalization
Open to all undergraduate students
Teams of 1-4 students (can be intracollegiate)
First Round Submission:
Teams must submit a slide deck (15-page maximum, excluding appendix) and a full financial model
Submissions are due Monday, November 17th at 11:59pm EST. Late submissions will not be accepted
Final Round:
Finalist teams will be notified by Wednesday, November 19th
Finalist teams will present (virtually) to Valiant investment professionals on Friday, November 21st
Team Prizes:
1st Place - $500 cash and team members will be guaranteed a first-round interview for Valiant’s Summer 2026 Research Analyst Internship
2nd Place - $300 cash
3rd Place - $200 cash
